Note: Thank you everyone for the lovely birthday wishes!! (sms-es, FB/friendster's testimonials, msn s etc etc) also presents and gifts from all of you! you guys really made my day =))

Okay as promised, Hatyai trip!

Day One
woke up at 4.30am on Weds, then fetched the rest and to the destination we went! i slept only for 4 hours to be exact, so i was kinda tired and sleepy in the car but there was no wayy i could sleep.. too excited already and the rest were busy chit chatting :S
since it was Raya holiday, hence the long stretch of cars *sweat* we were stucked in jam for about 1 hour before we reached the border.

crowd queueing at the custom

in the very cozy van
anyway we reached safely at the custom at about 9smth and the driver fetched us to Golden Crown hotel. after checked in and all, we started our journey to walk around the town. we were starving so we headed for our brunch which was bak kut teh. yummy~
next, walked around the town and bought nothing much. so we decided to try their McD =) they have the special shrimp burger and pork burger which we can't find in Msia. the pork burger tasted so so to me but the shrimp burger was super damn yummy!! i wonder why Msia's McD don't sell it =( and i don't know why everything we ate throughout the trip tasted very special and nice. even the McD chili sauce is different, so as the soft drink.

the super yummy shrimp burger

we found this interesting pizza hut advertisement..

this is my favourite pict.. haha don't you think we were so qualified for being nerds?! ;p

after the meal, we went for a massage (which is a must-do at Hatyai). it was only 200TB and it took us about 1 hour 45 mins. it was a very relaxing massage i swear i'm gonna visit it again!

the famous Thai coconut
as we had already bought 6 tickets for the akua show which was scheduled at 7.30pm, so we headed back to the hotel for a rest first. the van driver took us to the Hansa plaza on time. but we had an unhappy experience here. the ticket we bought was actually inclusive of seafood dinner, it was supposed to serve at 6.30pm(which means before the show). but due to the long queue and the crowd, our dinner was served at 7.15pm. which means we only had 15 mins to gulp all the dishes.. we saw other who came later than us but their dinner was being served first. and when we asked the waiter/captain about this, all they said was they don't know or shaked their head :S but anyway, we had our dinner quickly and proceed to first floor to look for our seats. were kinda enjoyed the show.
it ended at about 9pm so we took the opportunity to visit the night market. loads of people that night and loads of great and tempting food available ;D i tried their bbq cuttlefish, bird nest and 'pak koh' dessert, mangoes etc etc..

us while waiting for the show to start
it was a tiring but fun day there. we went to bed early that night as everyone were kinda tired.

Day Two
alarm was set to 6.30am (Hatyai's timezone) to wake us up. next we walked to the nearby kopitiam to have our breakfast. then we took the famous tut tut car to go to the big market. and this was the time i spent quite alot to fulfil my satisfaction haha. we spent around 3 hours of shopping there.. Angeline and Macy were the greatest shopping queen as they spent ALL of their money there! *claps admires wtf*
then we took another tut tut car to go back to the hotel to start packing. we checked out at around 12pm and went to have another McD meal ;) the van driver fetched us to the custom at about 2pm. and from here, we were stucked in jam again :S it took us about 5 hours to reach home..

in the tut tut car

that's all about my trip to Hatyai. it was a short one but we had a blast time.. gals finally we made it a reality yahooo!!!
anyway despite the fun parts, i realise we missed something..
1. we missed tasting the Swensen ice cream T______T *knock head*
2. we missed visiting the temples due to time constraint
and me, in particular, missed planning for souvenirs properly (cause i got not enough souvenirs to give to my friends and colleagues, woowoo...)
but nevermind, lessons learnt. i'm sure the next trip will be more fun and well-prepared! =)

2D1N Hatyai trip

I have been to Hatyai many times and I am not bored of it yet, haha!! xD
It's one of my favorite place to go, I mean considering the fact that I can't really travel oversea at the moment (no money and no time).
But traveling to Hatyai is still consider 'oversea' la right? 😆 It's just that we go there by car instead of plane.... Just 2 hours plus to reach kastam, almost like from Taiping to KL.

We had a short getaway to Hatyai last month, it was 2 days after the Songkran festival. We tagged Aden and Toby along so hubby suggested to avoid that festival.

Journey was smooth from Taiping all the way to the kastam, just the queue at the kastam was a bit tiring. We managed to check in early, lucky!

We stayed at Grand Pink hotel, I simply love this hotel because the room is big and clean! Staff service is nice too! Highly recommended, heard it's been refurnished lately. It's located next to Lee Garden Plaza so it's easy to find!
I also love the spacious bathro…

The unwelcomed birthday presents

(Note: Quite a long post, I skipped my afternoon nap to write this so please read everything ya!! xDD)

Past 2 weeks were really exhausting for me.

It all started on 20th April when Aden developed a mild fever, he was tired and sleepy, I let him skipped school for 2 days.

He seldom takes afternoon nap, when he does, it means he is not feeling well :(

The next day, it was Toby's turn😢
Poor boy, his temperature reached 39° and it was on and off~
Then I notice he started to have these cute double eyelids for a few days~ Haha not sure why~
He was feeling really unwell, very lethargic, no appetite and super duper clingy to me!

Then both brothers started to cough badly 😢😢
So on the 25th, I brought them to the pediatrician again.  He examined both boys and suspected it could be pneumonia and even dengue (because their fever were on and off). Suggested to get admitted right away.
I wasn't sure if that's necessary because I knew once admitted, have to stay for at least 5 days (h…
