Helpers for losing weight

Any topics that contain the words 'weight lose' will naturally attracts me ;)
saw this very useful information on Yahoo homepage this morning.

1. Full fat cheeseThis dairy product is an excellent source of casein protein- one of the best muscle-building nutrients you can eat.
(contradict to the name FULL-FAT, this food is able to help losing weight. amazing huh?)

2. Pork Chops
Researchers found that a 6-ounce serving daily helped people preserve their muscle while losing weight.
(nice! i love pork!)

3. Iced coffee
Coffee reduces your appetite, increases your metabolism, and gives you a shot of antioxidants. Caffeine stimulates your central nervous system by increasing your heart rate and breathing.
(too bad, i still dont like coffee no matter how much benefits it offers. for once i had a glass of coffee at night and i suffer a sleepless night, ever since then i've stopped taking coffee-related drinks)

4. Grapefruit
Grapefruit’s acidity may slow your rate of digestion, making you feeling full longer.
(i never know the wonders of grapefruit! i used to dislike it but now, its time to change the perception)

5. AppleTurns out, an apple a day may also keep the extra weight away. They require lots of chewing, which can make you think you’re eating more than you really are.
(its time to buy more red apple than green apple!)

6. Eggs
Skip the cold cereal: Eating eggs and bacon in the morning can help you control your hunger later in the day.
(i love egg white! but not egg yolk)

7. Beans
Scientists found that people who consumed beans were 23 percent less likely to have large waists than those who said they never ate them...
(really? i'm impressed!)

8. Salmon
Fish isn't just good for your heart; it's good for your gut, too. Hate fish? Take a fish-oil capsule every day - one that has 500 milligrams of the omega-3s DHA and EPA. It offers the same benefits as salmon.
(i like fish! one key point i always remember is that fish is rich is protein!)

9. Milk

Instead of fruit juice, reach for moo juice in the morning. Drinking milk at breakfast can help you eat less at lunch.
(yea, not only milk is good for our skin, it's good for our breast too! lol)

2. Latoja Hwanyu…

2D1N Hatyai trip

I have been to Hatyai many times and I am not bored of it yet, haha!! xD
It's one of my favorite place to go, I mean considering the fact that I can't really travel oversea at the moment (no money and no time).
But traveling to Hatyai is still consider 'oversea' la right? 😆 It's just that we go there by car instead of plane.... Just 2 hours plus to reach kastam, almost like from Taiping to KL.

We had a short getaway to Hatyai last month, it was 2 days after the Songkran festival. We tagged Aden and Toby along so hubby suggested to avoid that festival.

Journey was smooth from Taiping all the way to the kastam, just the queue at the kastam was a bit tiring. We managed to check in early, lucky!

We stayed at Grand Pink hotel, I simply love this hotel because the room is big and clean! Staff service is nice too! Highly recommended, heard it's been refurnished lately. It's located next to Lee Garden Plaza so it's easy to find!
I also love the spacious bathro…

The unwelcomed birthday presents

(Note: Quite a long post, I skipped my afternoon nap to write this so please read everything ya!! xDD)

Past 2 weeks were really exhausting for me.

It all started on 20th April when Aden developed a mild fever, he was tired and sleepy, I let him skipped school for 2 days.

He seldom takes afternoon nap, when he does, it means he is not feeling well :(

The next day, it was Toby's turn😢
Poor boy, his temperature reached 39° and it was on and off~
Then I notice he started to have these cute double eyelids for a few days~ Haha not sure why~
He was feeling really unwell, very lethargic, no appetite and super duper clingy to me!

Then both brothers started to cough badly 😢😢 
So on the 25th, I brought them to the pediatrician again.  He examined both boys and suspected it could be pneumonia and even dengue (because their fever were on and off). Suggested to get admitted right away.
I wasn't sure if that's necessary because I knew once admitted, have to stay for at least 5 days (h…
