Thanks but no thanks

What is the most annoying thing you hate to hear about yourself?

To me, it's 'You've gained weight, are you pregnant??' =_=

I know people around me is concern whether I'm pregnant after being married for almost a year. Thanks for the concern but hey, gaining weight doesnt really mean pregnant and vice versa!
To be honest, I know I've gained weight lately, probably because of less exercise and late dinner. But unless if I ask you 1st, otherwise, I'd appreciate if you dont give me such question.....

(Sorry, I'm that sensitive on weight :P)

But I dont know, perhaps people these days have the mindset of 'the age group of female becoming mummy is getting younger', thats why they're keen to know lo... =_=

  20. LOL, cool down, dear! It's just natural for most people to ask ladies who have got married not too long ago and then wondering whether she's pregnant or not with even the slightest hint of symptoms. ^_^

  21. Alice Phua, I totally understand what you mean..
But my biggest concern is, the person asking me that question is someone who is not close to me at all.. =_=

  22. It is human nature to be curious. I think in your case, they are more interested to know if you are pregnant rather than if you have gained weight.

It took me 5 years to conceive Chloe after marriage so you can imagine myself being asked the SAME question for 5 years! And now that I already have her, I am so often asked "when are you having no.2?" Very malas to layan this kind of questions sometimes...

  23. ChloeRuoyi, I understand! Thats some sorta life cycle ho?
When you're single, people will ask when are you going to get a bf/gf? When you have one, they will ask when are you going to get married? The list goes on and on...
