I Am Number Four (2011)

image taken from here

Starring: Alex Pettyfer, Dianna Agron, Timothy Olyphant, Teresa Palmer

John Smith (Alex Pettyfer) is an extraordinary teen, masking his true identity and passing as a typical high school student to elude a deadly enemy seeking to destroy him. Three like him have already been killed ... he is Number Four. His journey becomes even more challenging with the dead of his guardian Henri (Timothy Olyphant)....synopsis here

Nothing much to elaborate as this is a very sci fi movie. Anyway, Sarah (Dianna Agron) to me is a total new face and I think she's abit unnatural in her acting. But of course in most of the movies, there must be at least one girl to act with the main actor, right? ;)

Something on a Friday

Note: Happy Birthday to Yan!

After a long hard week, Friday is finally here! :D Hope you guys are doing well!

Nothing much to mention, just wanna wish everybody a happy Friday and have an awesome weekend!

On a separate note, here's a group photo of us (MIS department) with visitors from TOYO management, who went back to Japan yesterday.

Mr Tomomi Unigame (middle left), Mr Shuzo Tominaga (middle), and Mr Eiji Ishibashi (middle right). Not any handsome than Kimura Takuya (木村拓哉) :P, but definetely very polite and dedicated, we really got lots to learn from them...

This is a blog filler...

Hai! Ohaiyo gozaimasu! Ogenki desuka?

LOL, pardon me for the weird introduction as we're currently meeting up 3 Japanese from Toyo management. They are here to learn and understand our working environment and all system related issues. I foresee more chances coming in the future that we'll be dealing alot with Japanese so its important to learn up Japanese language, well at least the basic :P

Dealing with the Japanese actually reminds me of the beautiful Japan and my trip there 2 years ago.....
hubby and I at Glover Mansion Japan, a country which I really wish to visit again!

Anyway, this is obviously a blog filler as I really running outta topics to blog =_=" Life has back to normal ever since CNY's over and workloads are pretty crazy these days.....Til then, take care! chia neh~ (which means 'see you')

Foot reflexology chart

Many of us know that the areas of our feet reflects the different parts of our body, take a look at this chart. image from here

So which area is the most painful one when you massage your feet? My last trip of foot massage was during my recent trip to Hatyai, I remember the most painful area is the inner part which represents colon, spine, intestines and bladder (according to the chart). Cham la.... does it means my colon, spine, intestines and bladder are problematic?! :0

The Mechanic 2011

image here
Starring: Jason Statham, Ben Foster
Arthur Bishop (Jason Statham) is a 'mechanic' - an elite assassin with a strict code and unique talent for cleanly eliminating targets. It's a job that requires professional perfection and total detachment. But when his mentor and close friend Harry (Donald Sutherland) is murdered, Bishop is anything but detached. His next assignment is self-imposed - he wants those responsible dead. His mission grows complicated when Harry's son Steve (Ben Foster) approaches him with the same vengeful goal and a determination to learn Bishop's trade. Bishop has always acted alone but he can't turn his back on Harry's son. While in pursuit of their ultimate mark, deceptions threaten to surface and those hired to fix problems become problems themselves.

What a memorable Valentine's 2011!

If you read my comment in the previous blog post, I mentioned I had a memorable V day this year!
I made an early reservation at Raintree cafe, Flemington Hotel since last Friday, and looked forward for V day itself, as I said, this time we were going to celebrate V day with another 3 couple friends.

the menu 'shrinks', these were the only few choices they offer that night =_=" after placing our orders, its camwhoring time! my valentine =)

the girls...

Elie (the girl beside me) bought us a chocolate cake from La Promise bakery, yummy!

the other couples. You notice there was one guy without his valentine that night (in white shirt), he joined us at the very last minute, alone, as his gf was back to UUM

So here comes the food:
the yummy chocolate cake, this was supposed to our dessert, but luckily we had this as our starter, otherwise we'd starved to death (more on that later)

half dozen of chicken wings to share
So here comes the story, we reached at 8pm sharp and the…

On the 4th day of CNY...

... we had no ideas of where to go for gathering. So hubby invited the gang to his place at night.
We tapao-ed Pizza Hut, curry fish and fried kai lan from outside, and I prepared 3 big pots of rice and steamed eggs with prawns for the guests. Besides, there were some snacks and drinks too.
Then one of our friend Tony made us fresh mushroom soup with garlic breads. Sorry I forgot to snap photo of the food, as I was too busy entertaining them :P

after dinner, it was gambling time, LOL :P

I won abit in the beginning, but lose in the end :(

some friends who were there

the guests were busy playing poker cards, and I was busy cleaning up the plates and food at the side, LOL
No doubt it was fun having friends at home, but the tedious part is the cleaning which comes at the end..... Luckily I got those lady friends who helped me out =)

Not a blue Monday

I forgot when was the last time I received valentine gift from my other half, and vice versa, LOL :P
This year, we're going to celebrate it just like any other day. The only difference is that there're a total of 4 couples ^^ Whether it's a romantic candle light dinner, we'll see.....
How about you?

Here wishing you, A Happy Valentine's Day! 情人节快乐!Enjoy the day even if you dont have a valentine yet! ^_*

I Love Hong Kong (2011)

image from here

Starring: Eric Tsang, Anita Yuen, Tony Leung, Sandra Ng, Aarif Lee, Fala Chen, Wong Cho Lam, Bosco Wong

Another CNY movie starring most of the HK celebrities. There's nothing much to say about the synopsis as its more to like a comedy to me. However I feel that its much better than All's Well End's Well ;)
I've never been to HK yet. But I think the moral they emphasize in this movie is the bonding among families and friendship, even in a big neighbour hood.
rating: 3/5

Gathering with the pretty faces

Every CNY, I wont miss the chance of meeting up my girl friends who came back from KL/Singapore. Usually there'll be lots of chit chatting and laughter and lots to catch up too!
This day, I set hubby free and let him arrange his own activities without me! wakakak :D
