Visiting the zoo and blue mountain

The long holiday is over and it's time to get back to some serious works! Yea it sucks but, life goes on! Let's look forward to the next holiday then :P

Back to my trip, this day we visited Featherdale Wildlife Park. It's actually a smaller version of zoo, not much animals here but definetely has the main attractions, koala bears and kangaroos!

I'm not sure about the ticket price though...... :P

Here Mr and Miss kangaroos busy munching

And this cute koala bear which sleeps most of the time!

Ahh finally one which is awake! Well, I think they look cuter when they're sleeping :P

Yours truly with this cutie, I'm so gonna bring it homeee! Too bad we could only touch it and we were not allowed to carry it =(

Kangaroos are so free here, they walk everywhere!

Here's hubby with the sleeping koala

Us!

Other animals we spotted. There're also a big souvenir shop in this park, as well as cafe

Other tourist spots we went were the Blue Mountain and The Three Sister Rocks.

It was raining this day :(

And it was freezingly cold up there!

This train take us all the down and up to the hill

Due to the rain and thick mist, we had no fate seeing the Blue Mountain and also the The Three Sister Rocks =( What a waste!! Anyway here's the history of this place

We took this cable car back to the station

Hubby and I, it was like a jungle trekking, jungle trekking under the rain to be exact :)

Then you can have one at home

    2)Arggh naked ladies (the statue)

3)The train reminds me of our bkt bendera Penang hill's train

Eh bet this is one of the best memory of your trip - cheers!

  2. I like koalas they look super cute! I think there are some sanctuaries allowing people to hug a koala for photos but they charged you for the pics.

  10. I thought it's only me! I've seen koala once in Australia and it just refused to face us at all, just showing us the back. Then once in Taipei Zoo also the same!

  17. Robinson, well, deep down we all know it's impossible to bring koala here, haha :D But gotto admit they are sooo cuteee right!

YT, yep. There're other zoos which allow the visitors to carry.. but not this one which we visited.

    Daniel, yea they're so cute!

    Angeline, erm, not really....

SK, as mentioned in the post, we were not allowed to carry them, if I did, surely I'd post the photo up! hehe..

ChrisAu, it would be nicer if the sky is clear!

    Shenny's mommy, haha how come!!

Claire, the tram ride was very 'chi kek' leh!! Me like~

Shirlexia, they're always like that... hehe.

Yvonne, oh, it's because the water vapour and the ray of lights make the mountain to be appeared in blue!

Mummy Gwen, yea, it was raining so it was even colder!

Johnnie, you mean climbing the blue moutain?? =_=

Kian Fai, ya they sleep most of the time.

珊姑娘, sure you can! You've been to Maldives leh! My place-to-go!

Merryn, oh I didn't encounter any smelly koala bears! Lucky me~ :D

  18. The three sisters probably paiseh to meet Malaysians then haha. Noticed that the main frame that's holding the cable car looks like a boomerang? Or my eyes playing tricks after spending few solid days during the Raya holidays clearing 17,000 emails.? My last trip trip there we took the train and its scary to me.

  20. Bananaz, yep, looks like a boomerang, not sure is it purposely or.. ? :P

  21. At least you get to touch the koalas so you are luckier than us. The koalas that we saw were all out of reach... too high up in the trees either eating or sleeping haha.

The tickets to these wildlife parks are not cheap... about AUD16 per adult.

  22. ChloeRuoyi, but get to take their photos is good enough~

Oh not sure about the ticket price as it's included in the tour ^^
