Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol (2011)

Image from here

Starring: Tom Cruise, Simon Pegg, Jeremy Renner, Paula Patton

Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his team are tracking down a dangerous terrorist Hendricks, who has the access to launch Russian nuclear codes. They without any helps or back up, must fight to accomplish the mission.

Well, this is the 4th installment of MI series and I must say no regrets watching it. I don't remember if I've watched the previous 3 installments but this one is definetely one of the best! Apart from all the exciting scenes, there're a few funny parts which I remember vividly ;)

Of course, Mr Cruise doesn't look young anymore compared to the previous episodes but he's still looking good and acting professionally. And by the way, the movie was filmed mainly at the incredible Dubai and Mumbai India.

Personal rating: 4/5

  1. I duno abt this.... I haven't really been a to MI. but thanks for sharingggg`

  2. I think I only watch the first MI series. Didn't really follow. No chance to watch in cinema coz Gwen won't like it.

  3. I just saw it yesterday. This is the first MI I have seen. Full of action unlike the TV series.

  4. Don't know when I can step into cinema again with my kids. I don't watch 3D. Most animation is 3D now, so I have to wait and wait for a suitable movie.

  5. oh, i'm so gonna watch this movie!! saw uncle tom climbing the world's tallest building in the trailer and i'm all in it~~ :p

  6. Is it that good?? Watch the previous 3 but I just dont like the stories. Used to be a big fan of the old tv series back in the 80s though! :p So probably too much expectation of Tom Cruise in the movie, turn out so-so to me. But I think I will catch the movie in dvd.

  7. It's a mission impossible that u still keep up wif MI franchise!

  8. I will need to see it because we just visited the Burj Khalifa in Dubia.

  9. Yan, yea right.. I dont like 3D too.

Rose, well to me it's good! ;)

  10. I didn't really like the previous episodes but i'm looking forward to this one.

  11. Willie, well then hope you'll enjoy it!

  12. hubby had wanted to watch this but till now, still can't slot in any time to watch. haha...

2D1N Hatyai trip

I have been to Hatyai many times and I am not bored of it yet, haha!! xD
It's one of my favorite place to go, I mean considering the fact that I can't really travel oversea at the moment (no money and no time).
But traveling to Hatyai is still consider 'oversea' la right? 😆 It's just that we go there by car instead of plane.... Just 2 hours plus to reach kastam, almost like from Taiping to KL.

We had a short getaway to Hatyai last month, it was 2 days after the Songkran festival. We tagged Aden and Toby along so hubby suggested to avoid that festival.

Journey was smooth from Taiping all the way to the kastam, just the queue at the kastam was a bit tiring. We managed to check in early, lucky!

We stayed at Grand Pink hotel, I simply love this hotel because the room is big and clean! Staff service is nice too! Highly recommended, heard it's been refurnished lately. It's located next to Lee Garden Plaza so it's easy to find!
I also love the spacious bathro…

The unwelcomed birthday presents

(Note: Quite a long post, I skipped my afternoon nap to write this so please read everything ya!! xDD)

Past 2 weeks were really exhausting for me.

It all started on 20th April when Aden developed a mild fever, he was tired and sleepy, I let him skipped school for 2 days.

He seldom takes afternoon nap, when he does, it means he is not feeling well :(

The next day, it was Toby's turn😢
Poor boy, his temperature reached 39° and it was on and off~
Then I notice he started to have these cute double eyelids for a few days~ Haha not sure why~
He was feeling really unwell, very lethargic, no appetite and super duper clingy to me!

Then both brothers started to cough badly 😢😢
So on the 25th, I brought them to the pediatrician again.  He examined both boys and suspected it could be pneumonia and even dengue (because their fever were on and off). Suggested to get admitted right away.
I wasn't sure if that's necessary because I knew once admitted, have to stay for at least 5 days (h…
