Si lipas

Of late, I realise there's these small little cockroaches crawling in my room. Not one, not two but quite alot!! I really wonder where did they came from? For your infor, I keep my room really neat and clean, at first I thought they came from the dustbin so I started not throwing any food waste/wrappers/food related item into the dustbin. But then, they're still here!! >=(

So I bought this sticky cockcroach house from Tokutokuya over the weekend and tried.

Peel off the sticker and the attached the sachet of pest tablets on it.

So this is the so called cockcroach house. I placed 3 of them at different corners in my room.

5 days later, I checked.

Really managed to caught a few small ones (in circles) My friend said she even caught baby lizards before. Lizards??? Seriously???

Another one.... I actually pressed them and killed them! hahaha :P This sounds cruel but I really beh tahan already! I REALLY HATE THEM!!

No doubt this cockroach house helped me abit but still not enough. I really wish to find out their nest and kill all of them once and for all!! But how? Anyone out there who hate cockroach like me? Any ideas how to tackle this kinda problem? Your sharing is highly appreciated! Thank you!

BBQ at Sentosa Villa

Though the weather is so hot lately, we organized a BBQ session at Sentosa Villa over the weekend =)
The best thing I like about it is, everything is ready and we just have to grill and leave :P

This is the hut for bbq, the cafe management will prepare EVERYTHING beforehand. There're table, bbq pit, benches, washing basin and bathroom around, very convenient!

The bbq food comes in packages depending on headcounts. I took the 10 pax package and it's RM250, including the food in the photo and drinks (refillable)

Opps, fire burning~

Zhi Yi joined the fun that night!

More couples~

Us very hardworking :P

Of course, you can bring your own food there! The guys bought some beers and ice, and I brought additional sauseges and burgers, just in case.. cause there were 14 of us(but in the end, we still couldn't finish all of them)

The guys

The girls

And a group photo!

Overall, this is a very nice place for some family/friends gathering. And we don't have to clean up the mess after that ^^ To my surprise, there's no mosquito bites that night! BBQ session is available until 11pm only.

Visit their website for more information!

A short meet up

Drove to Ipoh last Saturday to meet up my ex Uni mate, Vinnie. Had lunch at one of the Japanese restaurant called Akamomiji.

Japanese food is always my favourite!

The environment is nice and the waitresses are friendly too

Ordered this Tori Ramen to share. Taste ok but the soup is not hot enough. RM 14.80.

Kyuri Maki, cucumber slice as the wrap, nice!! RM11.80

Avacado Unagi Maki, RM22.80. Love the sesame on top!

Thats Vinnie and I, before we left the restaurant and took a walk at De Garden mall. Total bill was RM52+ (including service charge) for the 2 of us.

Kering kontang

Looks like I've been to a beach eh?

It's actually the famous Taiping Lake Garden

The recent dry and hot weather has caused the lake to dry up....

Can see the sands and trash which you don't normally see.... If you have visited Taiping lake garden before, you'd know this is very terrible...

The water has never been this shallow.....

There's this part of the lake which has totally dry up until the soil is cracked

Some uncles used to fish here but now.....

So dry until you can actually step on it

But despite all the dryness, there's this nice water lily in the middle of the lake

I think it must be pouring for a few days continously in order to restore the beauty of lake garden. Now I hope the God of Rain read this post =)

Hello beautiful skin

Read these beauty tips from FB and thought of sharing with you guys....

1. 8 glasses of water everyday. Have a glass of water early in the morning is good for you!

2. Have the habits to move your bowel everday.

3. Strictly no staying up late.

4. Clean the face thoroughly to remove all unwanted make up and dirts.

5. Change your pillow case and bedsheet regularly.

6. It's best to sleep before 11pm. No supper before bed.

7. Never put your cell phone beside bed when sleep, it has radiation and is harmful to your skin.

Sounds very easy right? And all of them are applicable for both ladies and gentlemen.

Song Hye Kyo, ambassador for Laneige, a korean skin care brand. I personally feel she has very smooth and fair skin! (Psst, tell you something, friend use to comment that we look abit alike, LOL :P) *muka tebal*

Key chains

Was doing some housekeeping and found a bag of these.......

Key chains I received from around the world.....

I'm sure key chain is something very common you'll buy when you go travel, as a souvenir. It's easy to locate, inexpensive, small size and pretty useful too. But seriously how many of them you can use at one time?

Last time, I used to hang all of them at my office cubicle, as display =) But now, I just keep them in my cabinet ^^

How do you make use of the keychains you received?

So this is it.....

Last day at work, a mixed feeling of excited, sad and sorry.

Excited because, I cant wait to start my new life! Well, I'll temporarily take a rest first, before engage in new jobs (perhaps some family business or other office jobs) I guess that's pretty much depends on how thing goes ^^
But one thing for sure, I'll still be here at my lovely hometown.

Sad because, I won't be seeing my dearest lunch mates (you know who you are) so often already, will surely miss their laughters, gossips time and free meal! T.T

Sorry because, an issue happened today and I spent the whole day with colleagues trying to solve it. But until now, the problem is not resolved yet. No choice but to leave the whole thing to my colleagues to take over and I feel terribly sorry. I won't be there tomorrow and I think they're going to get some tea session from ehem, you-kn0w-who =(

With time spent solving the problem, I have not much times taking photos with the rest of the colleagues...... =_=
