Annyeonghaseyo (Hello)! This is the first post of my Korea travelogue! ^^
As I am running outta time (What a lame excuse!) I'm just gonna make this a warm-up post so pardon the short post ya!
A must-do everytime I go oversea, hehe
We arrived at Incheon International Airport at about 6am local time.
This is my mum and I, we looked quite tired don't we?
left-right: my mum, 2nd aunt, 3rd aunt and 4th aunt. Yep, my mum is the eldest ;)
My dad din't join as he was afraid to be the only man in the group, haha xD
We had a plane to catch at 3pm that very same day, it was the plane to Jeju Island. We spent 2 nights there before we flew back to Seoul again.
飞向济州岛的机票！Jeju we're coming!
Here we are at Gimpo Airport, waiting to catch the 3pm flight. Of course we din't spent the whole morning wandering at the airport. Tour guide brought us around Seoul which I'll blog later on.
由于是国内航班所以都是酱自己boarding，哈哈我很三八hor！因为我每次出国都是走boarding lane的，没试过酱自己爬楼梯的。。（Erm Air Asia好像也是酱hor？）
Bye bye Seoul, see you after 2 days!
Our first destination upon arrival at Jeju was this, Mysterious Road.
Why is it called Mysterious Road? That's because all vehicles will go up the small slope by itself even with engine off, and even the water on the road will flow upwards, pretty strange huh? Do you know why?
Hawker stall nearby
Weather was tolerable here, about 3-4'C
Then we traveled on bus to another tourist attraction, along the way I saw several petrol stations like this...
SK is one of the leading petrol company in Korea. Wow SK, I din't know you own such big company there? ^_*
Korea mandarin oranges, so big!
2nd destination in Jeju, Yongduam Rock. It's the formation of volcanic rocks which looks like a Dragon head.
It was very cold here cause it's just next to the sea!
This is the attraction, the so called Dragon Head.
先来个大合照吧！Group photo with my mum and aunties
Too many people so we din't walked down further
Lots of tourists here, especially from China
There're some hawker stalls and a gift shop here too
Later on, we had a warm and nice pot of fish soup dinner before check-in to the hotel.
Side dishes are plenty there!
We had a late shopping at one of the subway market before we called it a day.
But I went back empty handed cause the clothes there are not cheap! Really, things in Korea are quite pricey, I shopped the least this time, compared to other trips I went last few years. But still I finished every single Wons I brought there =_=""
Shall talk more about it in the coming posts, and reveal the loots towards the end of the travelogue.
