Yes, Aden boy is 1 year 1 week old now ;)
To be honest, his face doesn't change much compared to new born time (except for being chubbier la!) Majority still says he looks more like his dad, well hubs and I have no idea actually, haha xD
But it doesn't matter la, as long as he's healthy and happy.
Loves water as usual, bath time have been increases to twice daily (sometimes thrice, blame the crazy hot weather!), and had started to train him to brush teeth since he was 11 months old and now he knows (actually I think he just wanna bite that toothbrush LOL!)
Bath time is super hard these days cause he won't sit still in the bathtub anymore, loves exploring the floor, touch the toilet bowl and etc, poor mummy has to chase after him, also having a hard time putting on his clothes >.<
If the weather is good I'll give him a walk in his stroller around the house compound, and waiting for daddy to come home from work. Dare not go around the neighborhood by myself as it's quite quiet here, and I'm scared of bad guys! (I am very kiasi one)
Develops a trend these days, as mentioned in the photo shooting post. I called it Iron Man hands, haha xD
At 1 year old, Aden understands some simple instructions like clap hands, bye, high 5, fish & cat (there're fish and cat stickers on the wall in the room), zha zhi kok (don't know how to translate that, it's the action of open and close his hands) and etc. He's not talking, yet. But blabbers a lot, apart from the favorite mam mam and nen nen, we often hear him says gi go gi go and gao gao (I have no ideas what that means :P). He is trying to talk a lot lately, I guess he's in the process of learning to speak already.
Aden is not walking yet also. Can stand independently for a few seconds though. I really look forward to the day when he'd start taking his first steps! Already bought him a pair of comfy shoes, just the matter of time to put them on ;)
But well, I believe certain things are fated so I am not forcing him to walk, or talk. Fingers crossed at the moment!
Loves to push stuff since he was about 11 months old. Chairs, boxes, toys and basically everything within his reach. He might be a small boy but his hands are strong, seriously. He can move the chair a little bit while I am sitting on it, I am not exaggerating!
Still loves to pull our hair and bite us! Everyone in the family also kena already, I always get small bruises on my arms and thighs, well, starting to get used to it now :(
Latest talent is showing us his ugly faces (very drama king), I wonder does he knows pain? He'd scratch or pull his face/hairs harshly!
Blow him bubbles and he is amazed! Love his expressions, he even tries to catch and chase after the bubbles~
On a side note, something has been bothering me for months. Aden will cry/scream during his sleep every night without fail. Initially I tried to ignore (cause I am very exhausted by the end of the day) but he seems to cry even louder. Daytime naps seems ok, it only happens at night. I have learnt it might be night terror. Though pacifier works most of the times, I am still searching for better solutions for him to sleep calmly and soundly. But according to most mummies, it's a phase most babies will go through, guess I'll have to hang in there and wait til Aden pass this phase :(
But I do appreciate if you have some opinions on this matter.
That's all I can think of so far, it's 12am and my battery is low, time to get it charging! Shall come back with more of Aden soon!
