To Hatyai again

We were away to Hatyai during the last weekend.
Hatyai is one of my favorite place to visit, it's a food and shopping paradise! Plus, it's not too far away from Taiping, no need to travel by plane, haha!

Decided to bring Aden along, this is consider his first trip oversea (or should I say overborder? LOL) ;)
Remember the passport photo I blogged HERE? That's for this trip.

Too bad, he was down with fever on Friday T_T It happened all of a sudden, with no flu/cough or whatsoever. I was in dilemma whether to bring him along or not, kept monitoring his temperature the whole night, couldn't sleep well and so is Aden, poor boy.

Anyway, we brought him along, still feeling unwell and feverish during the first day we at Hatyai but getting better during the next day~

Due to the fever, he became more cranky and clingy to me, he wants only ME to carry T_T

Despite all the crankiness and tiredness, I had no regrets bringing him along, I think he enjoyed himself too! Especially in the tuk tuk car~

I did some shopping, in fact all of us did *happy*
But it rains EVERYDAY at Hatyai :( I guess not just Hatyai but everywhere else, including Taiping~

We stayed at The Bed boutique hotel and it was quite nice! Room is big and clean~

We stayed 2 nights so it wasn't so rush for us, still have time to take afternoon nap for the first 2 days ;)
Only thing is poor mummy couldn't sleep well cause these 2 bosses occupied the bed, hemp!

Christmas is coming, that means holidays! Here I wish my dear readers a Merry Christmas and happy holidays!
Nah, ice cream for you ^_^

  1. Hi Hayley, ha ha, love that pic of father and son sleeping. Same position too. I guess your boy even though not well must have enjoyed the trip.

The last time I was in Hatyai was wayyyyy back 1980.
Your boy has really grown too. Ok, time to give him a brother to fight and play, or baby sister to look after.
Wishing you and family a happy Christmas, best regards.
You stay beautiful and keep a song in your heart.

  2. wah.. so nice lah, you went to Haadyai again!! i remember you went to Haadyai this year with your ex-colleagues and it was just like yesterday.. and now you were there again for the second time!! i also cannot remember when was my last time to Haadyai already, but i am sure it was more than a decade ago, haha!!

hehehe, actually when you brought Aden to go and get his passport done, i also knew you are going to bring him to somewhere.. what "overborder"?? haha, still considered overseas lah, that's The Gulf of Thailand there right?? hehehe.. and good that you start bringing Aden to travel so that he can get used to it..

aiyoh, surely no fun is travelling when one is sick huh?? but Aden just looked okay aje leh, maybe he has got mommy to manja so didn't thrown tantrum but guai guai enjoying his ride on the tuk-tuk..

the hotel is nice leh!! very comfortable and tidy and clean, 光光猛猛, 整整齊齊, 乾乾淨淨 like that, i like lor.. and somemore still able to take afternoon nap for two days, haha!! yalah, actually nothing much intensive to do in Haadyai also besides eating and shopping and massage only, so it's more like an unwinding trip to get more rest i supposed.. but pity you, didn't have much sleep during the trip huh?? never mind lah, back to Taiping, your turn to sleep while your hubby takes care of Aden, hahaha!!

    1. Haha good memory wo SK! Yep, I went with Yannie and Ah Hua they all in April this year.

Yes that passport photo is actually an obvious hint la! ;))

True, don't say kids, even if we fall sick during traveling also very suffering lo...

Hotel room is really good, better than what I expected, too bad I don't have much time and mood to take photos of every corners... :p

  3. yeah, Christmas is coming real soon and Santa Claus is already in town!! wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!

where did you have that ice-cream in Swensen's?? Haadyai also?? i like that three pieces of chocolates on top, especially the Santa design, so cute.. too cute to eat also!! :p

    1. Yes SK, go Thailand must eat their Swensen, so many varieties and so cheap!

  4. Nice to go for a holiday as a family. Merry Christmas!

  5. Can go overseas, sick also can be cured one, that's a known fact! XD

  6. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you and your family! Looks like the Hatyai trip is a good one despite a bit tiring cos mommy has no place to nap. :)

  7. Merry Christmas to you too and the photo of your hubby and Aden sleeping with same pose, cute ya!

  8. Great first picture, warm impression.

  9. I am sure you enjoyed this trip, rest and relax

  10. Oooooo...Aden looks so happy! Pulls at one's heartstrings to see the photos. Hahahahahaha!!!! Like father like son!

  11. So nice can go Hatyai.. I puifook you wor, 4 months preggers still can go here there and carry Aden somemore.. If me, I think tired lor.. The ice cream is very Christmasy, very got Christmas feel, Merry Christmas and happy new year too..

    1. Haha, I puifook myself also, I just hope I din't drain myself too much and there won't be post effects, haha!

  12. 去hatyai住两晚是应该真的很悠闲了~
    *你没有孕妇look kuk!

    1. 嗯,第二天的时候就好了,屁股塞药果然很快退烧,不过也不好用太多。

  13. Merry Christmas to you and your family...

  14. Hahha ....guess you guys have a good time and hope Aden recovered fully. Merry Xmas to you and family.

  15. Glad you had a nice holiday with your boys :) Merry Christmas to you and your family, Hayley!

  16. Nice! That sounds like a very fun vacation with your family. :)

I like the shot of you all in the tuk tuk - I was quite surprised to see that the tuk tuk in Hat Yai are more like mini trucks (a cross between the ones in Bangkok and the jeepneys in Manila).

Glad you got your shopping done! Merry Christmas to you and your family Hayley!

    1. Their tuk tuk is really amazing, small but powerful ;)

    2. Yeah! It's so powerful that it can carry a lorry at the back which can seat 6-8 while the Bangkok ones can only seat 2-3 max.

I love the tuk tuk in Hat Yai. I thought they'll only go when they're full but my dear told me they'll go as soon as they have people.

  17. Hatyai again!! hahaha~
seems like you and your family have a wonderful trip! that's good :D

  18. U.. 1 carry 3 XD (1 big 2 small), but u still looked energetic! good~ Merry Xmas.

    1. 'Look' energetic, but deep down I was exhausted!!

  19. Merry Xmas!你看起来还是很瘦哦!

  20. This sounds like a very relaxing trip for you and your family. I love going to Hatyai too. Only the waiting at the custom and the hot weather put me off.

  21. I want to go to Hatyai too one day. ^^

Poor Aden. At least he got to enjoy the holiday.

Merry Christmas to you and family.

  22. It sounds like you and your family enjoyed the time in Hatyai, Hayley. ^^ It's the monsoon season; it even rains daily in KL too. =/

    Merry Christmas!! =D

  23. Enjoying a vacation with the family is always a priceless memory. :)

  24. Merry Xmas & Happy New Year!!

  25. 圣诞快乐!!!那里也很靠近你,可以一直去找吃又好买

  26. i like short trips! and of course a 'lazy trip' as i dun have to rush around goin places...Yeapzz lazying in the hotel and having naps on the comfy hotel bed is part of the fun.

  27. I love short getaway, definitely can recharge our "battery"!

Just a short post before the weekend arrives! =)

I've been drinking this collage drink for about a week already.....

It's from this brand, 满点肌, a product from Japan

10 bottles for the price of RM145

According to the SA, this collagen drinks will make your skin flawless after consuming for a period of time. And now after a week of consuming it, I did not see any significant improvement on my face. But one thing I realise is that my nose has become smoother and less blakcheads! Not sure is it the results of this drinks, but to me it's still a good news! =)

Anyway, my main purpose wasn't to buy this collagen drinks at first, I was looking for the eye mask actually, after reading the positive comments from Female magazine. 6 eye mask for the price of RM 155

The SA told me if I buy their collagen drinks, I'd entitled a 40% discount for the eye mask (yea, business tactics) So that's why I ended up buying the collagen drinks (which I never had before, cause I was worried…

Can't think of a title now...

Hi world! It's been a while! Hope you are doing fine! ;)
Life is busy as usual, and extremely tired lately due to the crazy weather and sick bugs came visited me :(
Got to sleep soon, just wanna come in here to make my blog a bit alive, haha!
Take care and have a nice week ahead!

2D1N Hatyai trip

I have been to Hatyai many times and I am not bored of it yet, haha!! xD
It's one of my favorite place to go, I mean considering the fact that I can't really travel oversea at the moment (no money and no time).
But traveling to Hatyai is still consider 'oversea' la right? 😆 It's just that we go there by car instead of plane.... Just 2 hours plus to reach kastam, almost like from Taiping to KL.

We had a short getaway to Hatyai last month, it was 2 days after the Songkran festival. We tagged Aden and Toby along so hubby suggested to avoid that festival.

Journey was smooth from Taiping all the way to the kastam, just the queue at the kastam was a bit tiring. We managed to check in early, lucky!

We stayed at Grand Pink hotel, I simply love this hotel because the room is big and clean! Staff service is nice too! Highly recommended, heard it's been refurnished lately. It's located next to Lee Garden Plaza so it's easy to find!
I also love the spacious bathro…
