To Hatyai again

We were away to Hatyai during the last weekend.
Hatyai is one of my favorite place to visit, it's a food and shopping paradise! Plus, it's not too far away from Taiping, no need to travel by plane, haha!

Decided to bring Aden along, this is consider his first trip oversea (or should I say overborder? LOL) ;)
Remember the passport photo I blogged HERE? That's for this trip.

Too bad, he was down with fever on Friday T_T It happened all of a sudden, with no flu/cough or whatsoever. I was in dilemma whether to bring him along or not, kept monitoring his temperature the whole night, couldn't sleep well and so is Aden, poor boy.

Anyway, we brought him along, still feeling unwell and feverish during the first day we at Hatyai but getting better during the next day~

Due to the fever, he became more cranky and clingy to me, he wants only ME to carry T_T

Despite all the crankiness and tiredness, I had no regrets bringing him along, I think he enjoyed himself too! Especially in the tuk tuk car~

I did some shopping, in fact all of us did *happy*
But it rains EVERYDAY at Hatyai :( I guess not just Hatyai but everywhere else, including Taiping~

We stayed at The Bed boutique hotel and it was quite nice! Room is big and clean~

We stayed 2 nights so it wasn't so rush for us, still have time to take afternoon nap for the first 2 days ;)
Only thing is poor mummy couldn't sleep well cause these 2 bosses occupied the bed, hemp!

Christmas is coming, that means holidays! Here I wish my dear readers a Merry Christmas and happy holidays!
Nah, ice cream for you ^_^

  1. Hi Hayley, ha ha, love that pic of father and son sleeping. Same position too. I guess your boy even though not well must have enjoyed the trip.

The last time I was in Hatyai was wayyyyy back 1980.
Your boy has really grown too. Ok, time to give him a brother to fight and play, or baby sister to look after.
Wishing you and family a happy Christmas, best regards.
You stay beautiful and keep a song in your heart.
    Lee.

  2. wah.. so nice lah, you went to Haadyai again!! i remember you went to Haadyai this year with your ex-colleagues and it was just like yesterday.. and now you were there again for the second time!! i also cannot remember when was my last time to Haadyai already, but i am sure it was more than a decade ago, haha!!

hehehe, actually when you brought Aden to go and get his passport done, i also knew you are going to bring him to somewhere.. what "overborder"?? haha, still considered overseas lah, that's The Gulf of Thailand there right?? hehehe.. and good that you start bringing Aden to travel so that he can get used to it..

aiyoh, surely no fun is travelling when one is sick huh?? but Aden just looked okay aje leh, maybe he has got mommy to manja so didn't thrown tantrum but guai guai enjoying his ride on the tuk-tuk..

the hotel is nice leh!! very comfortable and tidy and clean, 光光猛猛, 整整齊齊, 乾乾淨淨 like that, i like lor.. and somemore still able to take afternoon nap for two days, haha!! yalah, actually nothing much intensive to do in Haadyai also besides eating and shopping and massage only, so it's more like an unwinding trip to get more rest i supposed.. but pity you, didn't have much sleep during the trip huh?? never mind lah, back to Taiping, your turn to sleep while your hubby takes care of Aden, hahaha!!

  16. Nice! That sounds like a very fun vacation with your family. :)

I like the shot of you all in the tuk tuk - I was quite surprised to see that the tuk tuk in Hat Yai are more like mini trucks (a cross between the ones in Bangkok and the jeepneys in Manila).

Glad you got your shopping done! Merry Christmas to you and your family Hayley!

    1. Their tuk tuk is really amazing, small but powerful ;)

      Delete
    2. Yeah! It's so powerful that it can carry a lorry at the back which can seat 6-8 while the Bangkok ones can only seat 2-3 max.

I love the tuk tuk in Hat Yai. I thought they'll only go when they're full but my dear told me they'll go as soon as they have people.

近期所用的美容产品分享篇

*还没参加抽奖游戏的朋友们,快快按这里吧~ 到今晚10点罢了哦!* (For those who have not participate in the Bangkok giveaway, click HERE before 10pm today!* *帮我的家换了形象,还好吧?^^ *
好久好久没来篇像样的华语post咯! 今天就算牺牲美容觉也得呕出一篇来回馈我亲爱的读者朋友们,我知道有时看太多鸡肠对眼睛不好 xDD 怎样,我抵錫吗?:p
Hmm

BFF trip to Bangkok 2013: The food post

Bangkok is not only a heaven for the men shopping but also food! I've actually Google and blog hopping beforehand to see what's worth to eat at Bangkok, can only chose the most popular ones as we were there for only 4 days 3 nights, a very rush trip.
I've filtered out those food we ate during the trip which I think worth mentioning.
@ Food court, Platinum Mall Green curry chicken rice
Beef noodles
Fruit crepe
The food court is so big here in Platinum Mall, hundreds of tables are provided but almost all are occupied.

Dessert @ Swensen, Platinum Mall

(pale looking face, first day after touching down) Swensen is not in my itinerary, we decided to go here instead of Mr Jones Orphanage at Siam Center cause of the location. Siam Center is further away from where we stay, but Platinum Mall is just about 10 minutes walk from the hotel. End up, no regrets! Much cheaper and yummier compared to Malaysia.

T&K seafood, Chinatown  (It's easier to get here by metered cab)

By far…

To Penang again

Another Penang trip sponsored by my brother <3

The last staycation at Penang was during April (Click HERE to read).

Driving to Penang is easy for me, just about an hour, smooth drive along the highway and on the bridge, slightly jam from Gurney towards Batu Ferringhi though~

And here we are! This time we checked into Park Royal resort again, because we got a complimentary upgrade to suite rooms as promised by the manager 😁
The lounge area is now opened after refurnished, very big and comfortable place
Waiting to check in, wefie first la! 😄
Welcome drinks

Check-in was fast, the boys can't wait to see the rooms!

The room is big and nice with all basic necessities, nothing much to complain la haha!

Complimentary snacks and nutmeg juice

It has a smaller toilet outside...

... and a bigger one with bathtub near the bed. Needless to say, my sons were the most excited ones when they see the bathtub! 😊

Without wasting times, we changed into our swimming attires and off to the…
