Mid Autumn Festival

Hello from my naughty boys!!
How was your Mid Autumn Festival this year? Ours were very simple, playing candles and lanterns at our balcony, haha!
The boys are not keen on moon cakes, actually me too, I used to love moon cakes, but this year... Change of taste bud may be? xD

Anyway, both my sons love playing with fire candles,  we had been playing like this for continuous few nights til I became bored, LOL! So I told them 3/10 (The actual mid autumn festival) will be the last night we play with candles....

They even sang birthday song in advance for me! Haha!
On the 29/9 night, we attended Aden's school lantern festival. Lots of people that night, I mean of course, the whole school were invited!
2 main activities that night, stage performance and lantern walk around the school area. Too bad, it was raining that night so the latter activity had to cancel :(
They brought along the lanterns, still prefer these traditional paper lanterns over those battery-operated ones.  These day…

To Penang again

Another Penang trip sponsored by my brother <3

The last staycation at Penang was during April (Click HERE to read).

Driving to Penang is easy for me, just about an hour, smooth drive along the highway and on the bridge, slightly jam from Gurney towards Batu Ferringhi though~

And here we are! This time we checked into Park Royal resort again, because we got a complimentary upgrade to suite rooms as promised by the manager 😁
The lounge area is now opened after refurnished, very big and comfortable place
Waiting to check in, wefie first la! 😄
Welcome drinks

Check-in was fast, the boys can't wait to see the rooms!

The room is big and nice with all basic necessities, nothing much to complain la haha!

Complimentary snacks and nutmeg juice

It has a smaller toilet outside...

... and a bigger one with bathtub near the bed. Needless to say, my sons were the most excited ones when they see the bathtub! 😊

Without wasting times, we changed into our swimming attires and off to the…

Food, friends and gatheirng

I actually skipped yoga classes for some times now, but very thankful because my instructor still invites me to their gathering these days ;)

Last week, I joined their dinner gathering at one of the hotel's restaurant.

As you can tell it was a Chinese cuisine feast hehe! Food wise, overall it was ok, just a bit too salty (may be taste better with rice la)

It was a fun night! A bit of wine, with lots of laughter!
I went back home at 10pm, was told that little Toby cried looking for me when I went out =_=' Luckily my mother took him to a mall nearby, he sorta forget about mummy temporarily.... Clingy boy, haiz~

Just yesterday noon, we had another potluck gathering ;)
I did not bring anything, only my son and my appetite, hahaha!!
Good to have friends who remember us though we don't see each other often, right? ^^
