All good things came to an end

It was a Thursday, a sad Thursday.

Because I received this Whatsapp from my dance instructor in the morning 😢

None of us expected this.

You see, my dance instructor is a school teacher herself in one of the small town in Perak.
Teaching dance class is her part time come interest.

So it happens that she was being transferred to Kampar and thus she has to close down the dance lessons.

Like it or not, we all had to accept it.

Due to the sudden and short notice, I had no idea what to prepare for her as a farewell gift.

End up, I bought this scented soap bouquet for her, a small token of appreciation from me

That evening, also the last class, a few of us attended, we danced our hearts out during that one hour and took some photos after that.

Posing with some of the props we used during the dance lessons

I joined the dance class in Dec 2015, which is also the beginning of the dance lesson. Within this 15 months, I learn several dance moves like tango, cha cha, line dance, body combat, belly dance, tabata and hip hop, not forgetting aerobics and zumba too! Every class is fun and full with sweats!

The one holding the cake is the dance instructor Tee Syan, she is a very friendly and selfless person!

She bought us a cake that night, and some members brought along some drinks and snacks

We took the opportunity to chit chat while snacking. After this, not sure when will we meet again T_T

Despite feeling down having to say goodbye to Tee Syan, we still wish her all the best in her new working environment! People say all good things came to an end.
Hopefully we all can meet again soon!
Thank you for all the dance knowledge you shared with us!

Last but not least, a photo with my long lost sister Ling 😄
A few people actually said we look alike, I am not sure haha! But we are buddies, we talk about almost anything! xDD
She is now pregnant with baby #4! Salute salute! Can't wait to see her baby soon!

  1. Oh dear!!! Hope you will find somebody else, dancing is such a lot of fun and great exercise too. Had my share of that when I was younger - now, too old and too fat. LOL!!!

    1. I agree! Dancing is indeed very fun! Not that boring compared to yoga or jogging, hehe!

  2. Sad indeed but you all can still keep in touch with her in this online age easily.

    1. Yep, we still in the Whatsapp group ;)

  3. Really can sweat one!! I love dancing.. now I cannot join cos I am backward for almost a year due to my fractured now I learn at home..

    1. Yep, everytime also sweat like pig!
Oh, then you got to dance a bit slower and be more careful.

  4. Sad to hear about it... Maybe after sometimes, she will be station back and will start the dance lesson again...

  5. I always remember that nothing is permanent in life. There must be a start and end to every good story.
I like all the group photos taken. Everyone posed so gaya and confident.

  6. So good that you can exercise and dance, I can't join too vigorous exercise because last time I joined Yoga and I felt faint after exercising, maybe my body is too weak

Friends and even family come and go, nothing is permanent in life so we have to accept it

Nice farewell gift you prepared for her

    1. I love all the group photos, all of you look so happy

  7. So sad to hear such good and dedicated dance instructor leaving. Lovely gift from you.

  8. Oh, that is sad but you girls can continue dancing :)

  11. Ceh... I thought another one quitting blogging, heh...

  12. lovely ladies in the photos! u ladies rock!

  13. That is a whole lot of dances u learned since Dec 2015. It is so sad your teacher got transferred. Hope you'll find another dance class so you can continue dancing.

2D1N Hatyai trip

I have been to Hatyai many times and I am not bored of it yet, haha!! xD
It's one of my favorite place to go, I mean considering the fact that I can't really travel oversea at the moment (no money and no time).
But traveling to Hatyai is still consider 'oversea' la right? 😆 It's just that we go there by car instead of plane.... Just 2 hours plus to reach kastam, almost like from Taiping to KL.

We had a short getaway to Hatyai last month, it was 2 days after the Songkran festival. We tagged Aden and Toby along so hubby suggested to avoid that festival.

Journey was smooth from Taiping all the way to the kastam, just the queue at the kastam was a bit tiring. We managed to check in early, lucky!

We stayed at Grand Pink hotel, I simply love this hotel because the room is big and clean! Staff service is nice too! Highly recommended, heard it's been refurnished lately. It's located next to Lee Garden Plaza so it's easy to find!
I also love the spacious bathro…

好久好久没来篇像样的华语post咯! 今天就算牺牲美容觉也得呕出一篇来回馈我亲爱的读者朋友们,我知道有时看太多鸡肠对眼睛不好 xDD 怎样,我抵錫吗?:p
Hmm

BFF trip to Bangkok 2013: The food post

Bangkok is not only a heaven for the men shopping but also food! I've actually Google and blog hopping beforehand to see what's worth to eat at Bangkok, can only chose the most popular ones as we were there for only 4 days 3 nights, a very rush trip.
I've filtered out those food we ate during the trip which I think worth mentioning.
@ Food court, Platinum Mall Green curry chicken rice
Beef noodles
Fruit crepe
The food court is so big here in Platinum Mall, hundreds of tables are provided but almost all are occupied.

Dessert @ Swensen, Platinum Mall

(pale looking face, first day after touching down) Swensen is not in my itinerary, we decided to go here instead of Mr Jones Orphanage at Siam Center cause of the location. Siam Center is further away from where we stay, but Platinum Mall is just about 10 minutes walk from the hotel. End up, no regrets! Much cheaper and yummier compared to Malaysia.

T&K seafood, Chinatown  (It's easier to get here by metered cab)

By far…
