Movie review: Spiderman Homecoming (2017)

My boy whole body of Spiderman came watching his idol haha!

Aden has been pestering me to bring him to watch Spideman since he saw the poster in newspaper.
Too bad he was down with fever during the first week when the movie is released.

He is alright now, so I went on a mother-and-son movie date with him last Saturday noon.

I asked him before, of all superheroes, which is his favorite, first time answered me Spiderman.
Then I asked again some times later, still Spiderman, so I guess I can confirm his favorite would be Spiderman haha!

When I saw the new Spiderman Tom Holland appeared in the last Avenger movie, I din't really like him due to his witty character, I prefer the more serious Tobey Macguire.
I actually don't plan to watch this installment, I was only accompany my son xD
Anyway, this movie wasn't that boring than I expected. It appears to be more fun and interesting with the appearance of Iron Man, no complicated storyline too.
Overall, it's worth watching =)
Rate: 7/10

I asked Aden if he enjoys the movie and he said yes.
Well I am not sure if he's sincere to the answer, I mean it's not like he understands the whole movie though I did narrate to him when we were watching, and he actually got bored at certain parts of the movie.

But it's ok, at least I kept my promise ;)
And it was a nice date for me, this is the second movie we watched together in the cinema this year (previous one was Despicable Me 3).

  1. My last movie was Despicable me 3. My kids enjoyed the movie. Not sure they will like this spiderman movie or not. They are not such big fan of this superhero.

Glad the boys like the movie time. ;)

  3. Oh boy! Your son is always so cute and melt my heart. He probably likes Spiderman as this character is less violent compared to others that kill too much enemies. LOLOL

I went to watch this movie too and agreed that Tom Holland is not as good as Tobey Macguire.

  7. I watched the movie too last week. I find the movie quite OK, except that he is shorter than the actress, hahahaha! A bit awkward when they both stood near to each other.

2D1N Hatyai trip

I have been to Hatyai many times and I am not bored of it yet, haha!! xD
It's one of my favorite place to go, I mean considering the fact that I can't really travel oversea at the moment (no money and no time).
But traveling to Hatyai is still consider 'oversea' la right? 😆 It's just that we go there by car instead of plane.... Just 2 hours plus to reach kastam, almost like from Taiping to KL.

We had a short getaway to Hatyai last month, it was 2 days after the Songkran festival. We tagged Aden and Toby along so hubby suggested to avoid that festival.

Journey was smooth from Taiping all the way to the kastam, just the queue at the kastam was a bit tiring. We managed to check in early, lucky!

We stayed at Grand Pink hotel, I simply love this hotel because the room is big and clean! Staff service is nice too! Highly recommended, heard it's been refurnished lately. It's located next to Lee Garden Plaza so it's easy to find!
I also love the spacious bathro…
