Trong Leisure Farm

How did you spent your recent weekend holiday?

We made a short trip to Trong leisure farm, a small town near Taiping.
I actually went there before in year 2014, coincidentally it was during September too haha!

This time we left Taiping right after brunch, since I checked online already, it opens as early as 9am

I guess overall, this place changed nothing much compared to the last time...

Hello giant rubber duckie!

I love this photo, love their innocent looks here <3

Aden is quite ok in taking photos these days, haha!

Last round, we did not get to visit the actual duck farm due to time constraint.

This time around, we managed to experience it for the first time.
Here we are in a tractor which takes visitors to the duck farm.
Entrance ticket is RM8 for adult, and half price for kids~

But nobody check the tickets also, I guess it's ok if you don't buy any ticket and jump onto the tractor right away *grin*

Duck food is available for feeding, my boy enjoyed feeding those hungry ducklings!

Those bigger ducks are even hungrier!

Both Aden and Toby really enjoyed the feeding session, kept on pestering their daddy to buy more xD
It's RM1 per packet by the way~

Well, I just realize both of us hardly take any selfie these days.... :p

Actually it was drizzling when we arrived, luckily weather turned great after a while~

It's a duck farm, so you can expect a lot of duck stuff here, even edible jelly! xD

Quack quack quack~~~

Overall I think it's quite a nice place to visit, especially for kids ;)

Here's the actual location:
Trong, Perak, Malaysia.
Tel:  010-464 0918

For more information, you can check out their FB page~

That's all for today!
Have a nice weekend ahead!

  2. That's a lovely place. Nothing like exposing the kids to all these things first hand. Too many spend too much of their time on the smartphones and ipads these days - they miss all these, so sad.

    1. It's good to let the kids explore nature often, but sometimes smartphones/ipads are unavoidable too, of course need to control la!

  3. Quack! Quack! I would be thrilled even as an adult to visit this place with so many Donald Ducks! Definitely a good educational exposure for the kids to learn about Mother Nature and animals. Beside edible duck jelly, did they sell any crispy skinned duck rice? LOLOL

    1. Haha, quite an interesting for both adults and kids la!
Yep, they sell duck rice too! You can browse their FB page, they share the menu there~

  4. So many ducks, real and artificial ones hah..hah... Have a great weekend with your family!

  5. Yes, nice to visit this duck farm for children as they can feed the ducks and ducklings. Nice photos of everyone! Have a good weekend!

    1. I agree, let them explore and experience.

  6. It is good for children to visit this type of animal farms, educational and fun!

    Have a good weekend!

    1. By the way, I like that blouse you are wearing, looks very nice on you.

  7. Wow! A duckie farm huh? So many ducks! Real and fake alike! Hahaha.

The boys were enjoying themselves. Everyone was looking good.

  9. We been there once only. The place is not bad, but the restaurant food is so so only.

  10. Saw your pics on Fb and it looks so fun there ! Didn’t even know for such park exist there!i really didn’t travel up north for a while ! Hahahha... you guys are looking good there while Toby and little bro looks a cheerful lot at the park ! Nice place to bring kids there !!

    1. Yes, next time you back Ipoh can plan a trip there, near only.

2D1N Hatyai trip

I have been to Hatyai many times and I am not bored of it yet, haha!! xD
It's one of my favorite place to go, I mean considering the fact that I can't really travel oversea at the moment (no money and no time).
But traveling to Hatyai is still consider 'oversea' la right? 😆 It's just that we go there by car instead of plane.... Just 2 hours plus to reach kastam, almost like from Taiping to KL.

We had a short getaway to Hatyai last month, it was 2 days after the Songkran festival. We tagged Aden and Toby along so hubby suggested to avoid that festival.

Journey was smooth from Taiping all the way to the kastam, just the queue at the kastam was a bit tiring. We managed to check in early, lucky!

We stayed at Grand Pink hotel, I simply love this hotel because the room is big and clean! Staff service is nice too! Highly recommended, heard it's been refurnished lately. It's located next to Lee Garden Plaza so it's easy to find!
I also love the spacious bathro…

Hmm

BFF trip to Bangkok 2013: The food post

Bangkok is not only a heaven for the men shopping but also food! I've actually Google and blog hopping beforehand to see what's worth to eat at Bangkok, can only chose the most popular ones as we were there for only 4 days 3 nights, a very rush trip.
I've filtered out those food we ate during the trip which I think worth mentioning.
@ Food court, Platinum Mall Green curry chicken rice
Beef noodles
Fruit crepe
The food court is so big here in Platinum Mall, hundreds of tables are provided but almost all are occupied.

Dessert @ Swensen, Platinum Mall

(pale looking face, first day after touching down) Swensen is not in my itinerary, we decided to go here instead of Mr Jones Orphanage at Siam Center cause of the location. Siam Center is further away from where we stay, but Platinum Mall is just about 10 minutes walk from the hotel. End up, no regrets! Much cheaper and yummier compared to Malaysia.

T&K seafood, Chinatown  (It's easier to get here by metered cab)

By far…
