Its that time of the year....

In case you dint know, yesterday was the 1st day of chinese Hungry Ghost Festival(农历七月). the month July in Lunar calendar happens to be the most pantang and spooky month of all...:/

i always wonder about the existence of those things.. i've heard about people whom they say they can see those things with their bare eyes. i always wonder how does that feels.. touchwood touchwood la, dont get me wrong, i dont mean i wanna have that kinda power i'm just purely curious.

people also say, as long as we dont interfere and do anything bad with them, then we'll be fine. i dont know how true is this and i dont even know whether that thing exist, but this is what i always practice. i mean, just being me and dont touch anything bad. by saying this i mean DONT engage in activities like:-
-exploring haunted house
-telling/listening ghost stories
-watching ghost movies
-playing ghost games(灵魂钱)
-looking back when hearing someone's calling our names from the back(especially at night)
-etc etc

instead, we can try to:-
-stay at home at night throughout the whole month. if there is really a need to go out, try to go home before 10pm
-carry ang kong hu(sorry dont know how to say in English) everywhere we go
-keeping ourselves clean and pray alot
(yes, i'm not a brave girl)

hmm.. 28 more days to go before we welcome the good month, August ;)

*还没参加抽奖游戏的朋友们,快快按这里吧~ 到今晚10点罢了哦!* (For those who have not participate in the Bangkok giveaway, click HERE before 10pm today!* *帮我的家换了形象,还好吧?^^ *
Hmm

BFF trip to Bangkok 2013: The food post

Bangkok is not only a heaven for the men shopping but also food! I've actually Google and blog hopping beforehand to see what's worth to eat at Bangkok, can only chose the most popular ones as we were there for only 4 days 3 nights, a very rush trip.
I've filtered out those food we ate during the trip which I think worth mentioning.
@ Food court, Platinum Mall Green curry chicken rice
Beef noodles
Fruit crepe
The food court is so big here in Platinum Mall, hundreds of tables are provided but almost all are occupied.

Dessert @ Swensen, Platinum Mall

(pale looking face, first day after touching down) Swensen is not in my itinerary, we decided to go here instead of Mr Jones Orphanage at Siam Center cause of the location. Siam Center is further away from where we stay, but Platinum Mall is just about 10 minutes walk from the hotel. End up, no regrets! Much cheaper and yummier compared to Malaysia.

T&K seafood, Chinatown  (It's easier to get here by metered cab)

By far…

2D1N Hatyai trip

I have been to Hatyai many times and I am not bored of it yet, haha!! xD
It's one of my favorite place to go, I mean considering the fact that I can't really travel oversea at the moment (no money and no time).
But traveling to Hatyai is still consider 'oversea' la right? 😆 It's just that we go there by car instead of plane.... Just 2 hours plus to reach kastam, almost like from Taiping to KL.

We had a short getaway to Hatyai last month, it was 2 days after the Songkran festival. We tagged Aden and Toby along so hubby suggested to avoid that festival.

Journey was smooth from Taiping all the way to the kastam, just the queue at the kastam was a bit tiring. We managed to check in early, lucky!

We stayed at Grand Pink hotel, I simply love this hotel because the room is big and clean! Staff service is nice too! Highly recommended, heard it's been refurnished lately. It's located next to Lee Garden Plaza so it's easy to find!
I also love the spacious bathro…
