Bye 2009, Hi 2010!

With a blink of eyes, 2009 is almost coming to an end. reading back my old blog posts, i realised i did not made any new year resolutions last year. haha. but this year, i do have one important resolution which i hope, i can achieve in the days to come.

- to be a better wife, daughter and daughter in law-
after moving in with EK this coming March, i foresee i cant spend much time with my parents like i did before. so, i'll try my best to visit them whenever i can. but at the same time, i know i cannot overdo it, as i dont wish to hear negative comments from in laws or relatives. so, must pandai pandai already... =__=""

as to EK, i'll put more effort to make him nicer food.. lol. and i hope we both can learn to tolerant more with each other as we'll be staying together soon.

as in general, i'll try to be a better person! ;)

2009 has been a memorable year to me and the ups and downs eventually taught me valuable lessons. here i summarize some of the important events happened this year:

January: registered with the one whom we had 6 years of dating relationship
February: celebrating CNY and visiting Cameron Highland
June: had an awesome Redang trip with friends
July: started to learn cooking and baking
September: went Hatyai with 2 other couples
October: had birthday celebration here, here and here
November: visited ichiban Japan with EK
December: done with wedding photo shooting and still preparing for the upcoming big day

here, i wish all of you, happy new year 2010! may the new year bring us happier and healthier life, better luck and most importantly, more money! $$$$
Have a great year ahead! see you in 2010!!!

*还没参加抽奖游戏的朋友们,快快按这里吧~ 到今晚10点罢了哦!* (For those who have not participate in the Bangkok giveaway, click HERE before 10pm today!* *帮我的家换了形象,还好吧?^^ *
Hmm

BFF trip to Bangkok 2013: The food post

Bangkok is not only a heaven for the men shopping but also food! I've actually Google and blog hopping beforehand to see what's worth to eat at Bangkok, can only chose the most popular ones as we were there for only 4 days 3 nights, a very rush trip.
I've filtered out those food we ate during the trip which I think worth mentioning.
@ Food court, Platinum Mall Green curry chicken rice
Beef noodles
Fruit crepe
The food court is so big here in Platinum Mall, hundreds of tables are provided but almost all are occupied.

Dessert @ Swensen, Platinum Mall

(pale looking face, first day after touching down) Swensen is not in my itinerary, we decided to go here instead of Mr Jones Orphanage at Siam Center cause of the location. Siam Center is further away from where we stay, but Platinum Mall is just about 10 minutes walk from the hotel. End up, no regrets! Much cheaper and yummier compared to Malaysia.

T&K seafood, Chinatown  (It's easier to get here by metered cab)

By far…

2D1N Hatyai trip

I have been to Hatyai many times and I am not bored of it yet, haha!! xD
It's one of my favorite place to go, I mean considering the fact that I can't really travel oversea at the moment (no money and no time).
But traveling to Hatyai is still consider 'oversea' la right? 😆 It's just that we go there by car instead of plane.... Just 2 hours plus to reach kastam, almost like from Taiping to KL.

We had a short getaway to Hatyai last month, it was 2 days after the Songkran festival. We tagged Aden and Toby along so hubby suggested to avoid that festival.

Journey was smooth from Taiping all the way to the kastam, just the queue at the kastam was a bit tiring. We managed to check in early, lucky!

We stayed at Grand Pink hotel, I simply love this hotel because the room is big and clean! Staff service is nice too! Highly recommended, heard it's been refurnished lately. It's located next to Lee Garden Plaza so it's easy to find!
I also love the spacious bathro…
