Good things are meant to share!

Few days ago, colleagues and I went for lunch at La Promise cafe situated at Jalan Panggung Wayang. all of us ordered their set lunch which cost only RM 9.90!!
La Promise has been one of my favourite cafe, as they offer great food/cakes, with reasonable price, and most importantly, the services are ichiban~ the owners (Richard and Ling) are very friendly couple too!

for started, you can choose either mushroom soup...

or garden salad (my choice)

as for drinks, you can choose lemon tea or coffee (hot lemon tea for me!)

the main course, consists of fish or chicken, you can choose from 6 different types. I had this Breaded fish with Texas sauce. the fish might be slightly small piece, but just nice for me, you know la, girls.... we always watch our diet :P

colleagues had chicken with potato gravy, I heard positive review from them too!

last but not least, dessert! you can choose ice cream of Chocolate, Vanilla or Strawberry flavor, they comes with a slice of cake too! :D

What do you have complain about this worthy set lunch?? RM9.90 for so many thing, it's definetely a must try! ^^

  1. Starter, main dish, desserts of ice-cream and cake for RM9.90! Worth every ringgit of it! :P

  2. Well it sounds pretty good good too!
But hor... How come a lot of us never thought the lady boss is friendly ah?
We were actually old choir mates in school and my friends and I, even the bf's sister and parent know her, but all said she doesn't know how to 'do business', not friendly at all wor...

  3. InspiredMomx1, yes! colleagues and I are planning for another trip! :P

Shirlexia, well, I have to admit, Richard is more friendly. But the lady boss is also nice, at least she smiles and greets her customers.

  4. yummy! i saw the photos of the food at Yvonne's blog already. make me hungry lah.

  5. Barbara, hehe, I'd like to try other main course and might post it up again :P

  6. wow~ really worth leh... cheap cheap leh... by the way, where u work?

  7. Evelyn, I work at Kamunting, Silverstone to be exact ;)

  8. Oh yeah can't ask for more... it's very worth for money with the set & I guess the food should taste not bad too!

  9. Dora, yep! the food tasted not bad! overall, no complains and satisfied! ^^

  10. Very cheap!! RM9.90 for the soup, main course, n dessert which the dessert consists of an ice cream with a cake...very worthy...

  11. Vinnie, yaya! everyone is saying so~ hehe..

  12. It is so worth and so tempting.

  13. Yan, yea! hopefully the cafe opens tomorrow!

  14. Alice, we're going again today :P

  15. The 2st pix is mushroom soup? I thought it is coffee at first before reading. hehe...

The chicken with potato sauce look so yummy....never had that before. Normally, only black pepper and mushroom sauce. Something special.

    The price - worth it!!!

  16. mHnL, haha, it did looks like coffee isn't it? But it's mushroom soup!
I've not try the chicken with potato gravy, but I reckon it surely taste nice.

Just a short post before the weekend arrives! =)

I've been drinking this collage drink for about a week already.....

It's from this brand, 满点肌, a product from Japan

10 bottles for the price of RM145

According to the SA, this collagen drinks will make your skin flawless after consuming for a period of time. And now after a week of consuming it, I did not see any significant improvement on my face. But one thing I realise is that my nose has become smoother and less blakcheads! Not sure is it the results of this drinks, but to me it's still a good news! =)

Anyway, my main purpose wasn't to buy this collagen drinks at first, I was looking for the eye mask actually, after reading the positive comments from Female magazine. 6 eye mask for the price of RM 155

The SA told me if I buy their collagen drinks, I'd entitled a 40% discount for the eye mask (yea, business tactics) So that's why I ended up buying the collagen drinks (which I never had before, cause I was worried…

Can't think of a title now...

Hi world! It's been a while! Hope you are doing fine! ;)
Life is busy as usual, and extremely tired lately due to the crazy weather and sick bugs came visited me :(
Got to sleep soon, just wanna come in here to make my blog a bit alive, haha!

2D1N Hatyai trip

I have been to Hatyai many times and I am not bored of it yet, haha!! xD
It's one of my favorite place to go, I mean considering the fact that I can't really travel oversea at the moment (no money and no time).
But traveling to Hatyai is still consider 'oversea' la right? 😆 It's just that we go there by car instead of plane.... Just 2 hours plus to reach kastam, almost like from Taiping to KL.

We had a short getaway to Hatyai last month, it was 2 days after the Songkran festival. We tagged Aden and Toby along so hubby suggested to avoid that festival.

Journey was smooth from Taiping all the way to the kastam, just the queue at the kastam was a bit tiring. We managed to check in early, lucky!

We stayed at Grand Pink hotel, I simply love this hotel because the room is big and clean! Staff service is nice too! Highly recommended, heard it's been refurnished lately. It's located next to Lee Garden Plaza so it's easy to find!
I also love the spacious bathro…
