Legend of the fist 2010

Starring: Donnie Yen, Shu Qi, Anthony Wong

As a martial art lover, hubby doesnt want to miss watching this movie. We were lucky enough to be able to get movie tickets an hour before the show time. the cinema was quite full, and I heard brother mentioned this movie is a hit in KL which he hardly get tickets at the moment =_=

Storyline, it's something similar to Ip Man. Chen Zhen (Donnie Yen) had been taken death after revenging his master's death. 7 years later he disguises as his friend Koo and be friend with Shanghai mafia boss. Pretending as a caped fighter by night, Chen Zhen intends to take out everyone involved as well as get his hands on an assassination list prepared by the Japanese.

One thing I've heard alot about this movie is the naked scene of Donnie Yen while being canned by the Japanese. Also, his muscular arms.... ;)

rating: 3.5/5

  2. I've been missing most of Donnie Yen's films. The last I watched was 14 Blades on DVD. He's not really my favourite actor... his biggest obstacle - his height, kakaka! And he really enjoys his nude scene!

  3. Angeline, LOL, you're a big fan of him ya~

Yvonne, hmm, despite his height, he's really good in martial art! But most of his movie also 18 rated one...

Reading your mention here, sounds like an interesting show.

2D1N Hatyai trip

I have been to Hatyai many times and I am not bored of it yet, haha!! xD
It's one of my favorite place to go, I mean considering the fact that I can't really travel oversea at the moment (no money and no time).
But traveling to Hatyai is still consider 'oversea' la right? 😆 It's just that we go there by car instead of plane.... Just 2 hours plus to reach kastam, almost like from Taiping to KL.

We had a short getaway to Hatyai last month, it was 2 days after the Songkran festival. We tagged Aden and Toby along so hubby suggested to avoid that festival.

Journey was smooth from Taiping all the way to the kastam, just the queue at the kastam was a bit tiring. We managed to check in early, lucky!

We stayed at Grand Pink hotel, I simply love this hotel because the room is big and clean! Staff service is nice too! Highly recommended, heard it's been refurnished lately. It's located next to Lee Garden Plaza so it's easy to find!
I also love the spacious bathro…
