Yes or no?

The above image is about LASIK surgery, a type of surgery to correct short sighted and astigmatism.

I've been considering to undergo this surgery to solve my short sighted problem. For your infor, I've been wearing glasses since Form One, which is already 14 years. I have to say it's somehow troublesome to wear glasses and no doubt contact lens came in rescue, it's the best-est if we can chose not to wear glasses/contact lens and still have perfect eye sight!

I have been asking around about this LASIK surgery. Most people who did it have no problems after the surgery. As far as I know, KL has better trusted doctors who perform LASIK. Though the surgery takes only about 10 mins for both eyes, I still feel a lil scared.... =_=

Comments anyone?

  1. o.O you wear glass?? Yeap heard of lasik before & i think it's natural to feel scared coz the star wars laser ray is upon your "window to the world"

P.S : I need one as well when the right time come

  2. Hayley,
I think you look better without glasses. But laser surgery is something else. can be scary. I have come across at least two friends who had done it.

  3. This very common nowadays but make sure you get a professional doctor and take enough rest after surgery! My sis went treatment for twice and spent almost SGD2K+ but it doesnt solve her sight problems (but may be her condition is worst la cause she high diabetes).

p/s: I heard it no pain or wat.. so don't worry so much! God Bless...

  4. So long (whatever it is) you feel comfortable about, the laser surgery now is better and more advance now, so no worries...

  5. There are those isolated cases where the surgery is not successful. And there are a lot of satisfied customer too.

So do more survey, ask more people and get more feedback. That should gather more information than you needed.

  6. I prefer to wear glasses although I did consider going for this laser surgery many years back. LASIK has been around for quite some time already so it should be safe and reliable. My FIL did it a few years ago and so far he's ok.If you really want to go for it, just do it :)

  7. I am considering the same too! Oh... I wanna go for it la... think first think deep, haha

  8. I'm also wearing glasses since form 1. Its very safe. Don't worry lah. But I myself haven't done it hehe.

  9. i have done lasik to my eyes and so has my hubby too. we did ours at Optimax, pioneer in this :) we did ours abt 8 years ago :) If you want to do it, just go ahead and don't think too much, if not, you'll be too scared to go through it :) it is very safe. remember to go to one that is trusted :) if you need more info, let me know :)

  10. Robinson, yes I wear glasses.

Pete, oh, you're not liking this surgery huh..

Johnnie, haha thanks. So how are your 2 friends?

Evelyn, yes, people with diabetes are not encouraged to undergo this surgery. But other than that, I think should be fine? =)

Eugene, haha thanks for giving me support!

Yvonne, ya agree. Do more survey before I make decision.

ChloeRuoyi, my friend told me the same thing. This should be very safe now.

Daniel, hmm, think carefully before decide, it's our eyes afterall.

Mummy Gwen, I din't know you wear glasses! =)

Barb, that's so kind of you! I will ask you if I need more infor. My friend recommend this trusted doctor at Damansara Uptown.

  11. It has become quite a common surgery. I would think it as safe as long as u get a reputable surgeon. Many of my friends did them in Penang, and has been successful so far :)

  12. Hayley,
they are ok. looking great. and like Eugene said the shop are quite advance now and those in this earlier , I am sure have more experience now when they first started.

  13. hmmm, i've been thinking about undergoing the LASIK operation to correct my short-sightedness also, but then am still considering - feel quite insecure in a way also while wanted to go for it..

  14. YT, oh Penang has trusted surgeon too? Ok, at least it's nearer to me, I will trouble you if I wanna know more infor..

Johnnie, yaya, after some surveys, I think it's safe to go.

SK, I understand how you feel. So do more survey and think carefully before deciding....

  15. i think i will just stick to contact lens and glasses.. though i wear specs since std 2 @.@ dare not try the laser. timid-me :P

  16. Ying Ying, you wear glasses since std 2? wow...
By the way, I'm still having problem posting comment to your blog =(

  17. Hayley, aiyoyo..really ke... er.. try using another browser? i have a friend also feed back the same matter to me. but after she reopen her browser then ok liao wor.. not sure what happen.. >.<

  18. some of my fren go for Lasik too ... i think without class is better .. not becos of pretty ... :P

  19. heard it is painless wor.. but i dare not do as yet! hahaha..

  20. Ying Ying, yes, still the same =(
Wait til I try at home later...

    Anggie, more convenient too!

Claire, yes, its painless.. But still abit scary ho! Cause we have to stay awake throughout the whole process.

  21. Do update about your decision. I am also interested but scared to do it. My sis got it done after her son pulled off her nth pair of spectacles. She now rolls her eyes a lot because she says they are dry.

  22. Jiawen, oh really? I din't know about this side effects...

Just a short post before the weekend arrives! =)

I've been drinking this collage drink for about a week already.....

It's from this brand, 满点肌, a product from Japan

10 bottles for the price of RM145

According to the SA, this collagen drinks will make your skin flawless after consuming for a period of time. And now after a week of consuming it, I did not see any significant improvement on my face. But one thing I realise is that my nose has become smoother and less blakcheads! Not sure is it the results of this drinks, but to me it's still a good news! =)

Anyway, my main purpose wasn't to buy this collagen drinks at first, I was looking for the eye mask actually, after reading the positive comments from Female magazine. 6 eye mask for the price of RM 155

The SA told me if I buy their collagen drinks, I'd entitled a 40% discount for the eye mask (yea, business tactics) So that's why I ended up buying the collagen drinks (which I never had before, cause I was worried…

Can't think of a title now...

Hi world! It's been a while! Hope you are doing fine! ;)
Life is busy as usual, and extremely tired lately due to the crazy weather and sick bugs came visited me :(
Got to sleep soon, just wanna come in here to make my blog a bit alive, haha!
Take care and have a nice week ahead!

2D1N Hatyai trip

I have been to Hatyai many times and I am not bored of it yet, haha!! xD
It's one of my favorite place to go, I mean considering the fact that I can't really travel oversea at the moment (no money and no time).
But traveling to Hatyai is still consider 'oversea' la right? 😆 It's just that we go there by car instead of plane.... Just 2 hours plus to reach kastam, almost like from Taiping to KL.

We had a short getaway to Hatyai last month, it was 2 days after the Songkran festival. We tagged Aden and Toby along so hubby suggested to avoid that festival.

Journey was smooth from Taiping all the way to the kastam, just the queue at the kastam was a bit tiring. We managed to check in early, lucky!

We stayed at Grand Pink hotel, I simply love this hotel because the room is big and clean! Staff service is nice too! Highly recommended, heard it's been refurnished lately. It's located next to Lee Garden Plaza so it's easy to find!
I also love the spacious bathro…
