Best friend's wedding: Wedding dinner

Blog posts for October has dropped significantly, what to do, just not in the mood..... =_=

Anyway, I better wrap up my best friend's wedding post before I forgot about it....
Wedding dinner was held at Flemington Hotel, the same venue as my wedding last year ;)

Yours truly with the lovely bride, Annie. We are friends for 20 years already!! ^^

Quick shot with the bride before she gets busy!

Stepped into the restaurant at 8pm sharp

You'll agree that, friend's wedding is the best time for friend's gathering like this, when we take lots of lots of photos!

Other couples...

Annie in her 2nd wedding gown that night

Us again. Atmosphere was good that night, with the live band from Penang

The food which were hot and cold combination, sharkfin soup, Thai style chicken and duck, and yam basket

Steamed fish, yam rice, prawns (not in the photo) and dessert

Nice catching up with friends from KL

More of us now...

Wedding reception ended at 10.30pm, and we proceed to the leisure house to celebrate my birthday ;) View my post about it HERE.

Last but not least, a cute photo of hubby and I to end the post ;)

Happy Birthday! And what a wonderful day to celebrate birthday on your best friend's wedding night. You are so lucky because even the Bride served you birthday. Lucky you...

    COMBATING FLU/COLD
Sorry to hear that you got flu. I must thank God that despite the bad weather, I'm still healthy. Probably because I ate a lot of garlic. Hahaha! But Vitamin C is vital. Just yesterday, my mom came and brought me three bottles of Vitamin C. I love my mom! Hehehe...

    REAL STEEL 2011
I heard from other bloggers that this movie is a blast. I really should watch this soon.

    BEST FRIEND'S WEDDING
Hahaha! I hope your friend read your blog about her wedding. Must be wonderful to read it. One thing for sure...I don't think I like Porridge with Guiness Stout. I cannot imagine how it tasted like. Uiwww....

And I have not heard about Flemington Hotel. I think I will google it up tonight. You guys have been friends for 20 years? That's long. You guys must went to the same school or maybe in the same class. Gee..that's cool...

Alright Hayley...I guess I must make a move to another blog now. Have a nice day yeah?

*还没参加抽奖游戏的朋友们,快快按这里吧~ 到今晚10点罢了哦!* (For those who have not participate in the Bangkok giveaway, click HERE before 10pm today!* *帮我的家换了形象,还好吧?^^ *
Hmm

BFF trip to Bangkok 2013: The food post

Bangkok is not only a heaven for the men shopping but also food! I've actually Google and blog hopping beforehand to see what's worth to eat at Bangkok, can only chose the most popular ones as we were there for only 4 days 3 nights, a very rush trip.
I've filtered out those food we ate during the trip which I think worth mentioning.
@ Food court, Platinum Mall Green curry chicken rice
Beef noodles
Fruit crepe
The food court is so big here in Platinum Mall, hundreds of tables are provided but almost all are occupied.

Dessert @ Swensen, Platinum Mall

(pale looking face, first day after touching down) Swensen is not in my itinerary, we decided to go here instead of Mr Jones Orphanage at Siam Center cause of the location. Siam Center is further away from where we stay, but Platinum Mall is just about 10 minutes walk from the hotel. End up, no regrets! Much cheaper and yummier compared to Malaysia.

T&K seafood, Chinatown  (It's easier to get here by metered cab)

By far…

2D1N Hatyai trip

I have been to Hatyai many times and I am not bored of it yet, haha!! xD
It's one of my favorite place to go, I mean considering the fact that I can't really travel oversea at the moment (no money and no time).
But traveling to Hatyai is still consider 'oversea' la right? 😆 It's just that we go there by car instead of plane.... Just 2 hours plus to reach kastam, almost like from Taiping to KL.

We had a short getaway to Hatyai last month, it was 2 days after the Songkran festival. We tagged Aden and Toby along so hubby suggested to avoid that festival.

Journey was smooth from Taiping all the way to the kastam, just the queue at the kastam was a bit tiring. We managed to check in early, lucky!

We stayed at Grand Pink hotel, I simply love this hotel because the room is big and clean! Staff service is nice too! Highly recommended, heard it's been refurnished lately. It's located next to Lee Garden Plaza so it's easy to find!
I also love the spacious bathro…
