BDS annual dinner 2014

The BDS group held the usual annual Chinese new year dinner last week, this time is even merrier because most of our kids are able to run and scream already, LOL!
(BDS is Black Dog Society, it's named this way cause we used to drink Guinness Stout few years ago, and we always have lots of gathering/outing, so the guys thought of naming our private group as BDS ^^)

My naughty boy!!

My humble little family, got matching color? :p

Karen and Boy

Cheery and her family

Far and PL

Annie and her family

Elie and family

The single ones.... :p

The noisy fellas!

Do re mi!

Had fun just banging at the chair, haha

And here's the food we ordered:

(Sorry no captions for the food as those are just very common dishes :p Anyway the bill for all the food that night is about RM 700++, quite a satisfactory one)

It was a fun night with lots of chit chatting and laughter, we all treasure event like this as it happens only once a year, LOL!

    1. or maybe everyone goes back to Taiping and then you are all able to meet up, hmmm, it really feels a lot of difference back in the hometown huh?? i mean it's always merrier, unlike the quietness of KL where everyone has left the place.. errr, i think the busiest places would be Kotaraya where you join the foreign workers for "celebration", haha!!

    2. the adults have fun and so do the kids!! haha, look at them, i think they won't remember meeting each other every year, but once kids gather together, they can become friends so easily hor?? ah, how nice.. and any match-making happened that day?? :p

    3. i remember you saying your group always go to the same restaurant and order the same food, or was it some other bloggers who said that?? hahaha.. anyway, when comes CNY i think those set are all similar lah, so long as you guys are happy chit-chatting and yum-singing probably you won't be too bothered about the food like other foodie bloggers.. :)

*还没参加抽奖游戏的朋友们,快快按这里吧~ 到今晚10点罢了哦!* (For those who have not participate in the Bangkok giveaway, click HERE before 10pm today!* *帮我的家换了形象,还好吧?^^ *
Hmm

BFF trip to Bangkok 2013: The food post

Bangkok is not only a heaven for the men shopping but also food! I've actually Google and blog hopping beforehand to see what's worth to eat at Bangkok, can only chose the most popular ones as we were there for only 4 days 3 nights, a very rush trip.
I've filtered out those food we ate during the trip which I think worth mentioning.
@ Food court, Platinum Mall Green curry chicken rice
Beef noodles
Fruit crepe
The food court is so big here in Platinum Mall, hundreds of tables are provided but almost all are occupied.

Dessert @ Swensen, Platinum Mall

(pale looking face, first day after touching down) Swensen is not in my itinerary, we decided to go here instead of Mr Jones Orphanage at Siam Center cause of the location. Siam Center is further away from where we stay, but Platinum Mall is just about 10 minutes walk from the hotel. End up, no regrets! Much cheaper and yummier compared to Malaysia.

T&K seafood, Chinatown  (It's easier to get here by metered cab)

By far…

2D1N Hatyai trip

I have been to Hatyai many times and I am not bored of it yet, haha!! xD
It's one of my favorite place to go, I mean considering the fact that I can't really travel oversea at the moment (no money and no time).
But traveling to Hatyai is still consider 'oversea' la right? 😆 It's just that we go there by car instead of plane.... Just 2 hours plus to reach kastam, almost like from Taiping to KL.

We had a short getaway to Hatyai last month, it was 2 days after the Songkran festival. We tagged Aden and Toby along so hubby suggested to avoid that festival.

Journey was smooth from Taiping all the way to the kastam, just the queue at the kastam was a bit tiring. We managed to check in early, lucky!

We stayed at Grand Pink hotel, I simply love this hotel because the room is big and clean! Staff service is nice too! Highly recommended, heard it's been refurnished lately. It's located next to Lee Garden Plaza so it's easy to find!
I also love the spacious bathro…
