Eastern Europe: Old Town Dubrovnik

Another city we visited in Croatia is called Dubrovnik (pronounced as dew-bro-nick), it's a Croatian city on the Adriatic Sea.

That's the place we are heading, can see it when we were on the bus, very beautiful! It's just by the sea!

It was evening when we arrived, sky getting darker, and temperature dropped significantly here!!

At the pile Gate, entrance to the old town

Yes I told you temperature is low here, it was cold!!

Here we are at the old town, also called the Stradun. Stradun means street.

Here we see a lot of shops selling clothes, souvenirs and snacks. Even cafes and restaurants, and a museum and church.

The street is absolutely clean!!

Needless to say the view here is beautiful!

It's a small place but jam packed with facilities and tourists. I love this place very much =)

p/s: I am trying to keep my travelogue short with more photos and less words, hope you'll enjoy it!

  7. Dubrovnik, that's another place I first heard about and read about from your blog, haha!!

so you took a domestic flight from Zagreb to Cavtat and then at this Adriatic Sea area of Crotia you were in a coach to travel from one place to another.. patutlah, look at the view, it would too stunning to be missed if you are taking flight huh?? so that's a good planning for your trip leh..

I guess you were there in the late afternoon or evening so you just hang around the old town and Stradun.. good also la, relax relax a bit and the next day baru go and see more of the place..

yes, the street really looks clean and they even put tiles (look like, or polished stone or something else??) to cover the whole street, looks so classy lor..

packed with tourists?? probably this place is the major attraction of Dubrovnik huh?? and with cafes and restaurants, probably also a hip place for the locals too?? :)

haha!! the last two photos, you were placing your camera on the ground and then use timer to snap the photo?? hehe, the angle looks like it.. you didn't get yourself a selfie stick and a remote shutter meh?? haha.. actually that one is really useful (though may look stupid) leh, haha!! :D

yeah, short and sweet and more photos to see!! I'm sure everyone loves this style of travelogue, for yourself also don't have to spend so much effort and time in it hor?? good choice!!! :)

    1. Haha, same here, I have never heard about this city before too!

Yes, though it was tiring taking the coach but worth it also la!

The tiles on the floor were from last time, they maintained them well!

Yep, this is a major attraction for the tourists, I believe for the local too!

Oh the last 2 photos, we din't used self timer, a friend helped us with that photo, he was the one who suggested us to take the photos like that, with that angle, he said it's nice!

  8. A picture says a thousand words, so it is definitely better to post more pictures. Keep them coming! ;)

  9. Like me too, I like to put up more pictures... and less words.. :) anyway, I like the pictures... I really want to go la... see got chance or not....

Just a short post before the weekend arrives! =)

I've been drinking this collage drink for about a week already.....

It's from this brand, 满点肌, a product from Japan

10 bottles for the price of RM145

According to the SA, this collagen drinks will make your skin flawless after consuming for a period of time. And now after a week of consuming it, I did not see any significant improvement on my face. But one thing I realise is that my nose has become smoother and less blakcheads! Not sure is it the results of this drinks, but to me it's still a good news! =)

Anyway, my main purpose wasn't to buy this collagen drinks at first, I was looking for the eye mask actually, after reading the positive comments from Female magazine. 6 eye mask for the price of RM 155

The SA told me if I buy their collagen drinks, I'd entitled a 40% discount for the eye mask (yea, business tactics) So that's why I ended up buying the collagen drinks (which I never had before, cause I was worried…

Can't think of a title now...

Hi world! It's been a while! Hope you are doing fine! ;)
Life is busy as usual, and extremely tired lately due to the crazy weather and sick bugs came visited me :(
Got to sleep soon, just wanna come in here to make my blog a bit alive, haha!
Take care and have a nice week ahead!

2D1N Hatyai trip

I have been to Hatyai many times and I am not bored of it yet, haha!! xD
It's one of my favorite place to go, I mean considering the fact that I can't really travel oversea at the moment (no money and no time).
But traveling to Hatyai is still consider 'oversea' la right? 😆 It's just that we go there by car instead of plane.... Just 2 hours plus to reach kastam, almost like from Taiping to KL.

We had a short getaway to Hatyai last month, it was 2 days after the Songkran festival. We tagged Aden and Toby along so hubby suggested to avoid that festival.

Journey was smooth from Taiping all the way to the kastam, just the queue at the kastam was a bit tiring. We managed to check in early, lucky!

We stayed at Grand Pink hotel, I simply love this hotel because the room is big and clean! Staff service is nice too! Highly recommended, heard it's been refurnished lately. It's located next to Lee Garden Plaza so it's easy to find!
I also love the spacious bathro…
